Scotland is a small unincorporated community and census-designated place〔(U.S. Census Bureau - 2010 Place Lookup ), Retrieved 2013-04-28〕 in Greene Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, about 5 miles north of Chambersburg. The Chambersburg Mall is located in the area, next to the Scotland exit of I-81. The Scotland School for Veterans' Children was long part of the community. The 2001 film ''Scotland, PA'' based on William Shakespeare's Macbeth was set, but not filmed, in the area.
